Top Ten Picks Meme - Series Books

I found this cool meme over at Random Ramblings - I absolutely love series books so I thought I would participate!

Top Ten Picks will be a weekly post here in this blog that talks about just that -- my top 10 picks! Every week, there will be a different and specific topic given. I will then choose 10 of my favorites from that given category, create the list, and post them up here!

For week one, the topic will be on 'Book Series.'

In a variety of different genres, in no particular order, here are my picks.
  1. The Black Dagger Brotherhood by JR Ward
  2. The Mercy Thompson Series by Patricia Briggs
  3. The Demonica Series by Larissa Ione
  4. The Sookie Stackhouse Series by Charlaine Harris
  5. The Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon
  6. Into The Wilderness by Sara Donati
  7. Alpha and Omega by Patricia Briggs
  8. The Queen Betsy Series by MaryJanice Davidson
  9. The Rachel Morgan Series by Kim Harrison
  10. The Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer
Head over to Random Ramblings and post your own top ten!

  1. Liked your post. Someday I hope to write a book where the royalties will pay for the copies I give away.

  3. Woohoo, thanks for joining :) Love your picks! And your blog -- just discovered it.
I also wanted to put the Sookie Stackhouse series. In fact, I had too many more in mind but had to settle for 10. haha.

  4. Hi! Good for you to narrow it to 10.
We both had Sookie and Rachel Morgan on our lists. I forgot The Outlander series - that was good too.
I will have to try Ward and Briggs soon.

  5. Nikki - That is a great goal!!
MarthaE - please do give Ward a try, that was only one on my list "in order" JR Ward is currently my favorite author.
I had a hard time getting it down to 10, it would have been closer to20 lol.

  6. I actually would have liked to go up to 30-- or more. ;)
so many series I love and I consciously try not to start any new ones. But so many I haven't heard of on ya'lls lists that I must check out. Keep encountering sookie all over the place--- must be a sign.

Actually, I just read what I thought was a stand alone book but ended up being the start of a new series--- what's a girl to do?
