It must be award season because I have received two awards from two very special bloggers! Heather @ Proud Book Nerd gave me the Honest Scrap award and Wendy @ The Minding Spot gave me the Versatile Blogger Award! Thanks so much to the both of you!
So here are the details for the Honest Scrap Award:
As for the rules of the award – I am to list 10 honest things about myself and pass the award on to 7 blogs.
And for the Versatile Blogger Award:
When you receive this award, you must share seven things about yourself and then pass it on to 15 blogs you have recently discovered that you enjoy!
Here are 10 Honest Things About me:
I can pick things up with my feet - and often do.
I have a morbid fear of olives - especially black ones.
I am truly addicted to reading.
I love to play with legos.
I like the smell of gasoline.
I love all kinds of fruit except Bananas and tomatoes.
Spaghetti is my favorite meal, with pizza as a close second but I can't stand chucks of tomatoes - raw or cooked.
I love to frost cakes.
I love hearing my kids say "I love you mom"
I teach water aerobics at 530AM.
Now for 7 Things about me:
I have no idea what color my natural hair is.
I love it when I go shopping and the amount I saved is more than the amount I spent.
I get really irritated when people don't say thank you.
I dream about the stories I read in books.
I have to have my toe nails painted at all times.
Currently my favorite book series is The Black Dagger Brotherhood by JR Ward.
I am a total sucker for a beautiful smile.
Now to pass them along. I am going to list 15 bloggers and you can pick which one you want to accept (that way if you have gotten one before you can pick the other). I know I am bending the rules, but hey - That's how I roll! So hear goes (and If I wasn't already, I am now officially following you all through Google Friend Connect - if you have it):

Congratulations on your awards...you are definitely deserving of them. And how kind to think of me. I will be taking the Honest Scrap award. However, I am having a blog makeover this weekend so will post it later in the week. Again Thank You.
ReplyDeleteCheryl from CMash Loves To Read
Thank you so much! I have no idea which one to accept!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your awards - well deserved :) And thank you!
ReplyDeleteAww! Thank you so much! :-) You're very special, too! ;-) Congrats to you, you definitely deserve them!
ReplyDeleteI have to respond to some of your facts, because it's just needed! ;-)
I pick things up with my feet, too. Always amazes people! LOL
Ditto on the tomatoes and chunks of tomatoes! ICK!
You TEACH water aerobics? How cool! I took a class during one of my pregnancies, LOVED it!
I have never saved more than I've spent. How do you do that?
I dream about things I read in books, too!
@Cheryl - I can't wait to see the new layout! Do you think this blog needs a makeover? I mean be honest - I will not get offended.
ReplyDelete@Holly - feel free to pick both! =)
@Wendy you are very welcome
@Heather - I love love love teaching water aerobics - It is so fun. I am a huge coupon clipper and I like to buy things that are already on sale, and then use a coupon for it. I have even gotten stuff totally free because it was on sale and I had a coupon for the sale price amount off the item! I am a member of almost every coupon site and also the brands I use most often. I also never ever shop the regular part of department stores. And I can I just say that I dream about JM (from BDB) on a regular basis! LOL *blush*
BTW - LOVE YOU GALS YOU ARE ALL AWESOME!
*Congratulations* on your two well-deserved awards OutnumberedMama and *Thank you* so much for including me! I don't know when I would have time to post, and I won't feel bad at all if you replace me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being so sweet and thoughtful :)
Congratulations on your awards! I'm also addicted to reading! Can't stand tomatoes either, and am really curious about your olive phobia. Did you once choke on an olive, or is it just the way they look?
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
:) THanks so much! I actually hadn't seen the versatile blogger award before. :) Now if I can make the post and pass it on!
ReplyDeleteWow, thank you so much!
ReplyDelete@Alexia - my older sister used to put whole black olives on each of her fingers and then chase me around the house. Even the smell of olives makes me tense...I am working through it however, as my hubby and all three of my boys LOVE them!! I will never eat one but I can at least add them their side of the pizza.
ReplyDeleteThanks for clearing that up! Don't you just love older sisters? Mine never chased me with olive-fingers, but she had other evil torments. ;)
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling I should know, but I gotta ask. What's "JM (from BDB)"?
ReplyDelete@Heather - JohnMatthew from The Black Daggar Brotherhood by JR Ward.
ReplyDeleteAhh, I actually haven't read that one yet.
ReplyDelete@ Heather - it's a little steamy but currently my fave series!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the awards!
ReplyDeleteMorbid fear of olives? Well, they are qiute frightening!
Congrats on the awards! Thanks for tagging me and I'll have mine up at my book blog today sometime. I've changed the settings on my blog that you visited...you can leave comments now. Thanks for the heads up about that! :)
