BBI With Sapphire Reads @ One Page at a Time

Hello and welcome to another Book Blogger Interrogation! I have had the pleasure of getting to know a number of very cool book bloggers from all over the blogosphere. I thought it would be fun to put them under the heat lamp so to speak and get some answers to some fun questions. Today I want you to meet Sapphire Reads from One Page at a Time. She is my IRL BFF. Now I want you to get to know her a little better.

1. Tell me the number one reason you love to read.

I have been reading since I was a little girl and knew how to read. From my Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books to my Children’s Bible, which I read the cover off of to Sweet Valley High. I read to escape from my everyday thoughts and myself, which is why I mainly read fiction

2. What is it about sharing your reviews that keeps you going?

Well I technically just started sharing reviews in writing. However, having been a member of different book clubs over the years, sharing a review even through speech is a wonderful idea to me because I get to share with others what I thought of a book and hear what they thought if they did read it. I also think it’s a way to open someone else’s eyes to a different genre or author.

3. Who is your all-time favorite author?

Right now I have two. They are Diana Gabaldon and JR Ward

4. What is your all-time favorite book (single or series)?

My favorite series are Black Dagger Brotherhood and Outlander Series.

5. If you could pick one fictional character and bring them to life, who would it be?

Jamie from the Outlander Series
6. Do you always finish a book, even if you know you don’t like it half way in?

If I’m halfway in I will finish it because I feel like I have already invested the time. However if I can’t get past the first couple chapters and no one I know and trust is telling me to keep going then I won’t continue.

7. Do you own an eReader? If yes, why? If no, why not?

Yes I do. I bought an eReader for convenience and space (no more on my shelf). The convenience factor is that it allows me to walk around with my library and any book at my fingertip



8. What is your all-time single favorite genre to read?

My favorite genre right now is paranormal/urban fantasy
