This is how "Whatcha Reading Wednesdays" works this week...
Type in the first two sentences of the fourth chapter of your current book.
If it is a spoiler at all be sure to put **Spoiler Alert** at the top of your comment (like if the selection announces the death of an integral character or something).

Here is mine for this week:
"Should we check if she's dead?" asked one of Brazell's soliders. He held the lantern up to my door, his overloaded weapon belt jingling with the motion."
Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder

Sorry Gals! I guess that's what you get when you schedule posts at 2am LOL. It is all fixed now!
ReplyDeleteMy current book that I'm raving about doesn't lend itself to this kind of thing, but I have to recommend it! This is a writer's guide and reference thesaurus unlike your standard ones. It's "The Thinker's Thesaurus," with more interesting and sophisticated alternatives, which really increases its usefulness. (It's entertaining, too -- boy will you learn a lot.) This is the second edition -- the first one was the top-selling thesaurus in the US more than 40 times, and this one is a top-seller, too.
