Need Some Book Suggestions!

Trade Books for Free - PaperBack Swap.
I was just on PaperBackSwap.com (I love that site - if you haven't sign up yet, you should, it is a great way to turn the books you have read into new (at least new to you) books to read) and I realized that I have 12 credits - yes TWELVE!!! I spent a little while browsing but only came up with a few titles. So  I ma putting it to you all - WHAT BOOKS SHOULD I READ??? I really do read just about every genre - so I want to know what your all-time favorite titles are, or maybe just books you think I will like, or books you think every avid reader needs to read. I am like a kid with a quarter burning a whole in my pocket right now and I want to order some books!!! And before you call for the intervention - yes I know I have a serious addiction to books - I love the bookstore, I love a full book shelf, I love having a long list of books to read. But from the conversations I have had with many of you all, I think we could get a group discount, LOL!

  2. I think everyone should read Still Alice by Lisa Genova.

I have never went to the site cause i'm not in the US but I should take a look to get ideas, lol, as if I need more Wishlist books.

  4. I just finished A Vintage Affair and it was a nice read by Isobel Wolff.

I love Paperback Swap! I usually try to keep at least one credit in case I just HAVE TO HAVE something. =)

  6. Some of my favourites are YA. I really liked A Certain Slant of Light by Laura Whitcomb (an unusual ghost story with absolutely gorgeous writing) and Tiger Moon by Antonia Michaelis (a fairy tale-like story set in India).

Whatever you decide to read, I hope you enjoy it!

  12. New follower. My very first post on my blog was about PBS. Maybe I should write another one. I only have 2 or 3 credits but am waiting for some soap making books and haven't run across any.

  14. Swaptree is awesome! I actually like it a thousand times more than paperback swap. I get tons of books that are 200 deep wait-listed on pbs. Instead of sending out your book, getting credits and then finding a book you want....swaptree sets up 2-way or 3-way trades.....I absolutely love it! You MUST check it out!
