Made Into A Movie Monday

More and more popular books are being turned into movies. Sometimes for the good and some times for the bad. Either way it is an interesting prospect when you start to discuss who will play certain characters in these books, and in fact can lead to some pretty intense debate. This is especially intriguing to me because whenever I read a book, whether I have heard any rumors about it becoming a feature film, I select actors in my mind to represent the character so that I can "see" it play out as I read it. It is actually an almost unconscious thing, that I really don't realize until I am half way done with book!
In the spirit of this concept I have decided to take a book each Monday and "cast" it! I would love to hear what you think of my choices or what you would do differently! And if you are so inclined to join in, feel free - you know I love a good discussion! Please keep in mind that I am just picking some of my fave books, and I may or may not have any fact based knowledge as to whether or not it will become a movie or not!

So to start of Made Into A Movie Mondays I am going to cast Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder (my review).
As Yelena:
Selena Gomez

As Valek:
Adrian Grenier

As Ambassador Ambrose:
Christian Bale

As Ari and Janco:
Tatum Channing and Logan Lerman

What do you think?

  2. Hmmm. I think Selena Gomez would work as Yelena. Just not sure on Valek. But, then never thought about who I would cast.

  6. @bookaddict4real - I picked Selana to be Yelena because she has the abiltity to be shy and witty at the same time. She is also just the person I had in my head when Yelena was described in the book.
